 Library and Information Science graduate from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria Kaduna State Nigeria.

  • Started Judo at the nationally renowned ABU Judo Club.
  • 2015: Earned his First  Degree Black belt.
  • 2011-2021 (Ten Years): Ruled the Nation's Judo 60kg category Space undefeated 
  • 2011: 60kg category- Gold Medalist - National Sports Festival, Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.
  • 2012: 60kg category- Gold Medalist - National Sports Festival, Lagos State.
  • 2015: Debut at the All-African Games (AAG) Brazzaville, Congo in the 60kg Category.
  • 2015: Awarded the most valuable and promising Nigerian Judoka.
  • 2017: Awarded the most valuable and promising Nigerian Judoka
  • 2018: 60kg category- Gold Medalist - National Sports Festival, Abuja.
  • 2019: Represented Nigeria at the All-African Games (AAG) Rabat, Morocco in the 60kg Category placing 5th position.
  • 2022: 60kg category- Gold Medalist - National Sports Festivalm Delta State.
  • 2024: Competed for Nigeria at the AAG Accra, Ghana in the 60kg Category placing 5th position.
  • 2023: Attended the Senior African Championship in Morocco under the 66kg category.
  • 2023: African Gold Medalist, 66KG Category, Niamey African Open.
  • 2024: Gold Medalist, 66kg category,West Africa Clubs Championship, Lome, Togo.
  • 2024: Bronze Medalist, 66kg category in the 2024 Abidjan African Open.
  • Once competed in a grappling tournament and a Greco-Roman wrestling competition.
  • Still active in competitions.
  • An IJF athlete, having traveled to other Nigerian states and neighboring countries for training tours he is still open to adding value to the world's Judo space.
Audu Franca Sensei
 Guest Instructor

Graduate of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria with a B.Ed. in Guidance and Counseling.

  • Started Judo at age 12.
  • Invited to the Senior national team at 14 years.
  • Till-Date, Youngest Nigerian female judoka to be invited to the senior national team.
  • 2003: Earned 1st Degree (Shodan) Judo Black Belt.
  • 2007: First outing - Represented Nigeria in the All-African Games (AAG), Algiers Algeria, came 5th in the 48kg Category.
  • Dominated 48kg category in Nigeria for 7 years with many medals won nationally.
  • 2008: 52Kg-Gold Medal, West African Universities Games (WAUG), Accra, Ghana.
  • 2010: 48 KG-Gold Medal, African Championship Libreville, Gabon.
  • 2010: First International Medal -Bronze-African Championship, Cameroun.
  • 2011: Won her first AAG bronze medal in Maputo Mozambique.
  • 2011: World Judo Championship debut in Paris France. Lost to a former world champion.
  • 2012: Earned 2nd Degree (Nidan) Judo Black Belt.
  • 2012, moved to 52kg and ruled the category for 14 years with many medals won in Nigeria.
  • 2014: 2 Gold Medals (52KG & Open Weight Categories), National Universities Games (NUGA), Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
  • 2015: Won second AAG bronze in the 52kg Category at Brazzaville, Congo.
  • Won many titles Nationally.
  • 2018: 52kg-Gold Medal, African Championship, Dossou, Niger Republic.
  • 2018- IJF certified Judo instructor.
  • 2022- Certified coach from the prestigious National Institute for Sports (NIS).
  • 2022: Earned 3rd Degree (Sandan) Judo Black Belt.
  • 2023: Won another Bronze medal with a dislocated shoulder after an 8-year international tournament hiatus.
  • 2024: A 9-year comeback win to Bronze in AAG, Accra Ghana.
  • Attended 6 National sports festival so far winning 1 Silver and 5 gold medals.
  • Pursuing/Upskilling Coaching Career.
  • Active IJF Athlete.
  • Seasoned Judoka, Trained educator, and a certified Coach.
